  • Acted as Chief Architect for a nationally distributed, thin-client database repository system; Encapsulated complex Masterkeying mathematical hierarchies used to track the keys and cores installed at client’s sites (Best Access Systems, Indianapolis, IN)
  • Spearheaded a complete Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOA/D) effort using the Booch Methodology (before UML was completed) for a large-scale, nationally-distributed sales/marketing system; It allowed sites to minimize inventory through just-in-time purchasing and inventory sharing  (Zimmer, Warsaw, IN)
  • Designed and developed an intranet/extranet system for tracking health insurance/medical savings accounts for employers as an alternative to costly health plan coverage; Tracked member accounts, employer information, insurer policies and broker information  (HealthMatch, Indianapolis, IN)
  • Engaged as expert consultant, technical advisor and mentor for several multi-million dollar projects for the State of Ohio and other clients (TASC, Dayton, OH)
  • Conducted analysis, design and development of three key business workflow/CMS applications leveraging ASP, JavaScript, Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Exchange workflow API (Cybo Robots, Indianapolis, IN)
    • Bug and Enhancement Tracking System (BETS) – A workflow system to rout bug reports and enhancement requests from users and testers to a Software Review Board and then on to different engineers for analysis, design and implementation and finally to the testing team
    • Sales And Lead Tracking (SALT) – Specialized Contact Management System (CMS) custom developed to store and tracks sales leads and contact history and generate management reports on key project status; Designed for distributed Web access through a secure extranet
    • Purchase Order Workflow (POW) – Automates the entry and conditional multi-stage workflow of purchase orders among departments
  • Analyzed, designed and developed a specialized manufacturing Production Control system; Balanced Master Schedule/component requirements against Shop Order receipts; Also developed a Labor Log statistics tracking system for time studies, job performance and training schedules; Created an innovative UI for entry/edit of product usage relationships in an intuitive, visual hierarchy (AcraLine Products, Tipton, IN)
  • Designed and developed a highly customized document management system to track individual leases for each of the stores in over 400 malls nationwide (Mel Simon and Associates)
  • Developed a complete property tax payment system including entry of bills, tracking of assessments and levies, the production of check requests and all associated reports  (GTE, Indianapolis, IN)
  • Consultant and advisor for a variety of multi-million dollar projects for the State of Ohio and other clients. For two separate clients, evaluated a variety of development platforms and made recommendations best based on specific client needs.  (TASC, Dayton, OH)
